We recently had a chance to speak with Davy Bui who runs the Weird Forest label out in Sacramento, CA.  We discuss some of the label's history, some goings-on within the cassette underground, some upcoming releases that the label has in the works, and even, yes, the Based God himself, Lil B. We also discuss Davy's own shapeshifting Garrincha & The Stolen Elk project, which Weird Forest will be releasing a new album from in the next week. In addition to airing this conversation, we played various selections from the Weird Forest catalog, including a track from the latest Noveller album and one from that forthcoming Garrincha & The Stolen Elk album. Garrincha & The Stolen Elk will also be heading out on a national tour this summer and the bulk of the Weird Forest catalog will be in tow. Go out and see'em and buy direct.
